Why it matters

These students are the future of Canada, and we need them to be on their a-game to tackle a culture of death that is very resistant to change. Events are a prime networking opportunity, connecting students to likeminded peers, professors, community members, and leading pro life activists. But a good event has to be done *right*. That means marketing (online and physical advertisements; see below), venues, good refreshments, and sometimes even a speakers fee (hey, they need to make a living too :) ). Hosting a successful event that properly launches students forward takes proper investment, and that’s exactly what your donation is going to do!

Why it matters

There’s no such thing as too much publicity, especially when you’re pro life in Canada in 2024. The mainstream narrative is entirely pro choice, and digital censorship is getting insane. While we won’t ever stop fighting censorship, we recognize that ‘guerrilla marketing’ is often more effective in raising awareness, and breaking the ice with students who’ve never even questioned their pro choice indoctrination. Pamphlets, stickers, posters, and postcards have been the deciding factor in many underdog media campaigns, so that’s *exactly* why we’re going to be using this tried-and-true technique.

Why it matters

Fighting the culture of death is a full time job. We know that being a full time activist isn’t everyone’s calling, but fighting a dominant culture is a demanding uphill battle. We can’t do it without your financial support; We can’t successfully fight the pro abortion machine and simultaneously make money from a normal nine-to-five workday. So we need your financial support to make our dream of and abortion-free Canada a reality.

I’m even a bit more ambitious than that, though! I know with your support, we can expand our NCLN staff team. Why do I want to do that? Because our new projects are growing FAST. Students are coming to us to start new campus clubs, they’re eager to launch new projects (see below), and they’re eager to find innovative new ways to fight the cancer of abortion. And as hard as I try, I just can’t keep up with them—it’s a physical impossibility! But, that’s a good problem to have. It means the youth movement is growing. Thank God for that! We just need some more staff on our team to keep up the momentum. So please, consider donation; Consider increasing your donation; And ask your friends and family to donate! I can’t tell you how much we and our students appreciate your support as we forge ahead into this new year with its new territory!

Social Media

* Advertisements

* Post Boosting

Why it matters

Like I said, we have ZERO interest in giving up on social media just because censorship exists. But increasing our effectiveness on social media means expanding into ads and post boosting. I laid out a pretty ambitious plan to absolutely FLOOD various social media channels with pro life content—and trust me, I meant that plan! So now, we just need help forging ahead into ads and post boosting. This will increase our competitiveness and reach, so that we can better challenge the reign of the pro abortion media machine!

Why it matters

This is HUGE, and it's probably one of the most important--and popular--initiatives we're working on! The idea started in November last year, when a graduated singer-songwriter reached out for help in producing a pro life music video about abortion regret. We started conversations with our student leaders, and the idea exploded! Students will be helping with the video shoots, the marketing, merch design, and more! And, it got the wheels turning... now we're working on speaker training, coordinating interviews for news articles, a second music video, an online donation centre, fundraisers, and more! The projects are twofold: They help promote active pro life mobilization in conjunction with our educational campaigns, and they give students opportunities to put their skills to use in tangible pro life initiatives. When they graduate school and NCLN's training programs, they'll be fully equipped to run full-steam ahead with pro life activism in their respective fields. Our vision? More pro life musicians making pro life music; more pro life actors and videographers making pro life films; more pro life content designers running pro life marketing; more pro life politicians making pro life laws. But the only way to mobilize this daring project plan is the have the funds and resources necessary for further expansion. We're ready; the students are ready; we just need YOU to send us! 🙌

Activism

* Campus club posters

* Club merchandise (hats, sweaters, pens, pop sockets)

Why it matters

Activism is hard; we fight a constant battle against the anti-pro life prejudice and censorship on campus, plus we're competing against a million other things on (and off) campus--class, work, social events, media, and other clubs. It's easy for students to just brush us off as 'crazy religious anti abortion nut jobs' -- because that's what every professor, politician, and media outlet describes us as. Besides, it's more convenient for students if they don't feel compelled to take the pro life position seriously. They hustle by with their eyes on the ground, nose glued to their phones, insisting they're 'too busy'. It's sad, but that's the campus reality. Of course, once a conversation starts, they almost always leave the conversation questioning abortion--I only know of a couple people who left still insisting abortion was ALWAYS okay, no questions asked. But the trick is actually getting those conversations started. And that's where campus club merch comes in: A good impressions is EVERYTHING in this hyper-visual generation, and it legitimizes club position—especially when that club is countercultural. That's where club activism materials comes in: A good poster, some small club merchandise (pop sockets, pens, etc), a good banner, and information brochures gives clubs legitimacy with student audiences. And that is CRUCIAL for getting the attention of an otherwise lukewarm and disinterested student body. With proper club boothing materials, we can make a bold declaration on campus that facilitates conversation, and encourages students to actually discuss one of the most important human rights abuses in our era!
